My Chocolate Cake

Ingredients: 
  • 1 Cup Plain flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 2-3 tsp. Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 Cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Cup Brown sugar or raw sugar or white sugar 
  • 1/4 Cup Sour cream or full fat milk or plain yogurt 
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted butter melted (at room temperature)
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder 
Method
  1. Pre heat over to 150 dgree C
  2. Line a cake tin with parchment paper & spray with non stick cooking spray or some butter so nothing sticks
  3. Put all the above ingredients in a large bowl and whisk, or put it all in a food processor and give it a whiz so everything is combined.Do not over mix. 
  4. Transfer to the tin and bake for 25 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. 
  5. Let it cool for 10 minutes. 
Now you can adorn this cake with any topping of your choice, chocolate, whipped cream, strawberries etc..

Make sure you cover the entire cake with a thick layer of the sauce and let it solidify in the fridge or on the kitchen table over night, if the temperature is cool. 
The cake was wiped down by Mr N & I in two days...lol..so I think you must give it a try!
