I have always loved dadpe pohe, and there are many ways to
make it, some make it wet using freshly
grated coconut or coconut milk, some make it with green chilies, but I like it
this way. This is exactly how Mom makes it and that is how I love it and now Mr
N loves it too. :)
So here’s presenting a dish packed with a punch and
something I love to eat on a long, tiring day, I think it just is the ultimate
form of comfort food for me & Mr N.
Ingredients: Makes for 2
- 2 Cups Medium Flat Rice Flakes or Pohe
- 1 Large onion chopped
- 3 tbsp. Ground roasted peanuts or danyacha kut
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp. Sugar
- Pinch of red chili powder
- 1 tsp. Turmeric powder
- 2-3 tsp. Oil
- In a pan roast the flakes till slightly golden brown.
- Remove in a bowl & add the onion, chili, turmeric, salt, sugar, ground peanuts and mix well.
- Drizzle the oil & give everything a good mix with the help of 2 spoons.
You can garnish with some freshly chopped coriander but like
I said before I love it just this way.
