A very easy, affordable and extremely healthy snack. Works best as a breakfast dish with some greek yogurt, topped with some berries or dry fruits.

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Rolled oats
- ¾ Cup Peanuts ( you can use other nuts of your choice, such as walnuts, pecans almonds and also dried raisins, cranberries etc.)
- 3-4 tbsp. Golden syrup
- 1 Cup olive oil
- 2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
- 1 Cup Brown sugar
- ¾ Cup Dark or Semi Sweet Chocolate chips (optional)
- Pre heat your oven to 150o C.
- Spray or grease a large (9x16inch) baking tray with some olive oil or butter
- In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients, except the chocolate chips.
- In a measuring cup add the oil and pour over the dry mixture, followed by the golden syrup.
- Stir to combine.
- Transfer and spread evenly on the baking tray.
- Bake for 30-35 mins, making sure to give it a stir half way through i.e. after 10-15 mins.
- Remove from the oven, and let it stand for 2-3 mins. Immediately add the chocolate chips and mix thoroughly.
- Let it rest for 1-2 mins, so it can harden. Immediately break it and store in air tight container for 2 weeks.
