Chickpeas & Spinach


Ingredients: Serves 2

  • 1 Can organic chick peas
  • ½ Tsp. Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tsp. Red chilli powder
  • 1 Tsp. Coriander powder
  • ½ Tsp. Cumin powder
  • 2 Tbsps. Olive Oil
  • 11/2 Ts.ps. Garlic paste or powder
  • 2 Cups Spinach leaves or mixed salad leaves.
  • 1 Carrot shredded (optional)


Method

  1. Drain the chickpeas
  2. In a pan add the chick peas and all the spices
  3. Turn on the heat
  4. Mix everything together well
  5. Add the olive oil & garlic
  6. Mix or toss everything together
  7. Add the salad leaves or spinach
  8. Cover with a lid and let everything cook well for 5-10 minutes

Serve with some wine or bring it to lunch for a healthy tasty meal.
