Steamed Rice in under 10 minutes

To make steamed rice just take 1 cup of rice for 2 people.
Wash and drain excess water. 
In a thick bottomed pan or pot add the rice & 2 cups of water.
Add some salt.
always use 2x water to rice i.e. for 1 cup use 2  cups of water. Apply this simple tip and you will never fail to make a nice pot of rice. 
Cover & cook on low to medium heat.This fluffed up rice takes hardly 7-10 minutes.
When all the water has evaporated just run a fork through it, have a quick taste to check the chewiness of the rice.
Let it stand covered for another 5-10 mins before serving.
